I-Shoe Injury Reports
Injuries can make or break seasons. "Luck" keeps coming up as a reason for winning this game or losing that game, but players missing games may be the single biggest blow to any fantasy team, especially when it doesnt have the depth to account for it. Here are the games missed by starters thus far into the season. We have also added players that could have filled in for a starter when they got hurt. Thus, even though Beanie Wells would not start on Grumpy, his 7 games missed count because Mano could ostensibly have used Beanie when DeMarco Murray got hurt. On the other hand, Owen Daniels missed game will not count because Castro would not have started him over Gronkowski. If we missed something BIG, please let us know. So here we go, from least games missed, to most and i will update at the end of the season (maybe).

None. Nada. Zero. I dont think I have ever seen this. Not a single starter has missed a game for the Jihad yet they still have a losing record. There must have been a terrible trade or something that affected their performance.
Bafana Bafana (1)
Ahmad Bradshaw is the only starter to miss any time.
FC Castro (1)
Gronkowski loss is big when you're fighting for your playoff life.
melonheads~ (2)
Missing LeSean McCoy for a game is a big deal if you're in contention. Missing Mike Vick when Andrew Luck is putting up better numbers is not.
Stompers (3)
Nicks missed 3 games in the beginning of the season but he was obviously a lesser player even after he came back.
Manimals (3)
Jordy Nelson missed a full game and could be counted as two if you counted his early departure the week he came back. McFadden missed a game before he was traded.
LA Rams (7)
Amendola missed 3 games with a collarbone that almost killed him, McGahee has only missed one game but will miss more and McFadden has missed 2 games since being acquired. No, Andre Brown's concussion is not being counted.
Grumpy (13)
I was going to count Britt's 2 missed games but he stinks and would not have started anyway. Beanie the Weenie missed 7 games and DeMarco has missed 6. Nevertheless, the depth on this team has helped keep them afloat.
Athens (14)
I did not count any of Mendenhall's missed games because he was hurt to begin the season but the time missed with an Achilles was big as he could have filled in for MJD. Nevertheless, he has proven to suck so he does not count. Garcon missed 6 games, MJD 5, Jimmy Graham 1, and Percy Harvin 2. Those are big names to lose to injury and I thought it would be the worst in the league. It wasn't. Not by a longshot.
Greece (30)
Yep. You read that right. 30 fucking games. 30. To starters or starter fill-ins. Jennings 8, Hernandez and Benson 6 apiece, Sproles/Antonio Brown/Fred Jax 3 apiece, and Matt Forte 1. Yet this team is in playoff contention. I think this should be one of the proudest moments for Petros seeing how deep his team is to be able to win despite these losses. The final number of games missed for this team this year could stand as a record for a long, long time.

Many teams play match-ups and depth is becoming increasingly important, especially during byes- the Stompers' starters have stayed healthy (so far), but their shitty back-ups have been ravaged:
RB Bernard Scott- lost for season and dropped
RB Roy Helu- lost for season and dropped
RB Brandon Jacobs- missed first half of season and dropped
WR Stephen Hill- missed several games and then dropped
WR Alshlon Jeffrey- missed several games, dropped, and now out for season
WR Sidney Rice- missed multiple games and then dropped
