End of Season Roster Moves

Just to clarify the final add/drop period:

1) Blind bidding takes place as normal today and tomorrow with results posted on Wednesday.

2) Add/drops take place as normal this week, meaning from Wednesday at 12 noon ET to Saturday midnight ET, free agents can be added as usual. The $600 salary cap continues to apply.

3) Similarly, ALL DROPPED PLAYERS THIS WEEK WILL BE FREE AGENTS INTO THE OFFSEASON. So if you want to dump a high-priced player you have no intention of keeping, no one will be able to add that player if you drop them this week.

4) For the playoff teams, consolation bracket, and toilet bowl - ALL ROSTERS ARE LOCKED AS OF SATURDAY AT MIDNIGHT. You'll still be able to change your lineup, but there are no more add/drops for the year. If you are playing in the playoffs and want another QB, kicker, TE, Def, whatever, you need to add them this week. There are no exceptions for injuries, hurricanes, dirty bombs, etc.

5) Trading continues to be prohibited and the salary cap enforced until the end of the NFL regular season. After this point, trading is allowed and the salary cap will not be enforced until keepers are due in 2009.

6) Top-5 Salaries and salary increases (including the 20% LT rule) go into effect at the end of the NFL regular season.
