2009 Week 9 Blind Bid Results

Kapitalizm Stompers
1. ADD Ryan Moats $44 DROP Reggie Bush
2. ADD Fred Davis $1 DROP Todd Heap
3. ADD Maurice Morris $1 DROP M Massaquoi

Manimals
1. ADD Malcolm Floyd $2 DROP Sammy Morris

AJFA
1. ADD Bernard Berrian $20 DROP Jamal Lewis
2 ADD Tony Scheffler $5 DROP Matt Prater

FC Castro
1. ADD Justin Forsett $11 DROP Houston Defense
2. ADD San Fran Defense $1 DROP Baltimore Defense

The King's Ransom Award goes to the Kapitalizm Stompers, who bid well over FMV for Ryan Moats. Bidding went as follows:
1. K Stompers $44
2. FC Castro $17
3. Bafana Mafala $15
4. Manimals $8

In terms of high-profile drops, I believe Jamal Lewis had the highest 2009 salary of any dropped player. Other expensive drops this season include Reggie Bush, Roy Williams, James Davis, Lee Evans, Matt Cassel (reclaimed by the Rams), bust-in-the-making Anthony Gonzalez, and Jon Orent.

And by the way, has anyone taken notice of Greece Lightning? Petros has turned this franchise around faster than Jimmy Johnson fixed the 1989 Dallas Cowboys. Aside from weeks 3-5, they have scored 110 or more points every week- that ain't fuckin peanuts.

AJFA's drop of Jamal Lewis has been very tough on me. I dont make the personnel decisions, but if it were on me I would field an entire team of guys like Jamal Lewis. But I think that's what makes me different from most NFL coaches.
